It is an easy .5 mile trail to the falls. At some point, a massive hemlock fell over the trail; however, rather than cutting it out, the park service cut a step into it so you can hop over. A small beach to the left of the falls offers several downed trees as benchs to soak in the falls.
This 70 foot beauty is only 1/2 mile from the road via an easily hiked and well marked trail that is great for all ages. The Cascade Trail follows a steep descent through boulders and down rocky steps but offers close views of the cascades.
King Creek Falls is a nice 60-70ft waterfall (though I did see someone else say it was 75ft) with a satisfying flow and shape that made it seem like the healthiest waterfall we saw in Sumter National Forest.
