We do many things that aren’t pleasing to God. If we get the truth, we will experience the power of sin broken in our lives. And 1 Thessalonians 5:19 says we can quench his Spirit with our sin. When God took on the form of man and came as Jesus to live on this earth among us (Philippians 2:6–11), He felt the full spectrum of human emotions that we feel (Hebrews 4:15). The problem with this view ties directly into their view of God. We can read how Jesus was raised from the dead as proof of this enormous victory over sin and death, and is now in heaven with God, His Father. Sin is what draws us away from God's presence.

Sex was invented and designed by God Himself for the purposes of procreation and to express intimacy and love between a husband and wife.

God does not understand it when we sin.

Sin is deceitful and brings about death (James 1:14-15). We are fashioned in his own image.
