DRACULA REBORN is a horror film about a group of journalists who go to Transylvania to uncover the truth behind Dracula. I love great effects, and these vamps almost turned my stomach.

Here is my review from last year, after seeing it on both the 17th and 19th July 2016.

Patrick McManus Dracula: Reborn, a loose adaptation of Bram Sotker's original novel, concerns a man named Jonathan whose life falls apart with a vampire abducts his beloved wife. Three journalists travel from Vancouver to Transylvania to uncover the truth about Dracula. The makeup and costumes were alright. Cast includes Tina Balthazar, Eric Kara, Yves Carlevaris. Dracula is a Victorian gothic novel by Irish author Bram Stoker first published on May 26, 1897. New scenes were shot, some scenes were excised, digital effects were added, and a soundtrack was composed. This performance is very theatrical and comes complete with traditional make-up, a long flowing black cape and a camp sense of danger.

Approved Running time 2m 4s . Directed by Attila Luca. The twist of this story isn't bad and allows it to careen along a slightly different path than some other Dracula films. About 40-minutes later, it becomes terrible. I suspect "Reborn" refers to a retelling, different from others, modern European, and utterly somber in tone. He stalks the rest of the cast from the shadows whilst claiming a few victims along the way.

TALES OF DRACULA begins with several men tracking down and slaying Dracula… The pace was rather slow and I lost interest several times and did other things while watching.
